Step Three-HERE WE GO!

WE'RE GOING TO THE SHOW!!!! There is something different about this team. The back to back World Series teams of '92 and '93 were special and had a dominant line up and pitching staff, but this group of men is special. Every player, every post game interview mentions how much each member of this franchise cares about each other and has a next man up mentality and that makes the success that it is having all that more meaningful. When Vladdy almost teared up during his post game spot with Hazel Mae after the Game 7 win a few hours ago, I felt something I have never felt in sports. Like these boys not only are a great team, but that they deserve to win and are almost destined to win it all.

Every time they seem to be down in the dumps they rise above it all and roll. Down 2-0 in the A.L.C.S, all hope seemed loss to make it a series and the team scraped and clawed to win the next two games. Then to lose Game 5 in the way that they did. The game in hand and blowing it in the late innings, then coming back in Game 6. Game 7 was more of the same. Down and out for most of the game and then having a clutch play from a clutch player to get the job done. CRAZY!

Massive shout out to Jeff Hoffman as well. The much maligned closer for parts of the season stepped up huge in the final two games of the series and I personally thought there was no way he was going to get the job done. Glad he proved me wrong. He seems to have regained his mojo and let's hope he keeps it because the team is going to need it to have a chance against the Dodgers.

This city loves and embraces a winner. It was shown in 2019 when the Raptors won and it was shown again last night. If the Leafs were ever to put things together and go on a magical run, trust me the entire city would go bonkers! I WANT IT ALL!!!
