Game 1 For The Ages!!

The World Series started off with a BANG last Friday and I was lucky enough to be there and witness it all. The game was close until the 6th inning when the Jays scored eight runs high lighted by Barger's grand slam which was the first pinch hit grand slam in World Series history. Wow just wow!
The atmosphere around the park and during the game was absolutely electric and I have never high fived so many people in my life! I knew the Jays had a chance when they worked Snell in the first inning. It was only a matter of time before they got to their bullpen which has been much maligned all year and was missing some key pieces.
It was the perfect start to the series and something I will not forget for a long time. I was lucky enough to go to the clinching A.L.D.S game in 2016 and the Raptors finals clinching game against the Bucks in 2019 and I would honestly have to say that this game was it for me. The whole crowd was into it. The only difference was after the Raptors game people were high fiving people outside the stadium on the street, in their cars, pretty much everywhere. Insane. Toronto definitely supports a winner!
